Title-4: Restructuring and Reforming the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for Accomplishing Management Agility and Enhancing Change Management Capacity. Background of the project: In response to these changes, law enforcement agencies around the world are increasingly focusing on organizational agility and change management as key components of effective policing. Organizational agility refers to the ability of an institution to adapt quickly to environmental changes and emerging challenges while maintaining operational efficiency. Research shows that police organizations must continuously adapt their structures, management systems, and operational processes in order to respond effectively to evolving crime patterns and community expectations. Despite the evolving nature of crime, many institutional processes within traditional police organizations remain based on conventional investigative models. Organizational structures, job responsibilities, and administrative procedures often fail to keep pace with the changing demands of modern policing, Without continuous process development and effective change management strategies, police organizations may face difficulties in responding efficiently to emerging criminal threats In this context, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Bangladesh Police needs to strengthen its organizational processes, management systems, and institutional framework. Developing modem Rules of Business (RoB), clearly defined job descriptions, specialized investigative units, and performance evaluation mechanisms can significantly improve operational efficiency and institutional accountability. Therefore, this research aims to assess the necessity of process development within CID in order to enhance management agility and strengthen the department's capability to manage organizational change in response to evolving crime patterns and public expectations
