The consultant must certify whether the financial statements present a "true and fair view" of the company’s financial state, operations, and cash flows, in conformity with: International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS). The Companies Act, 1994 (and its amendments). The Financial Reporting Act, 2015. Relevant guidelines from Petrobangla, BERC (Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission), and national tax regulations.
