The main objective of the consultancy service under these Terms of Reference (ToR) is to assist the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) in designing, monitoring, and supervising all activities related to implementing the Sylhet Division Important Upazila & Union Road Widening & Strengthening Project. The Consultancy Firm shall work under the PMU's guidance to ensure the completion of assigned tasks in a professional and time-bound manner. Other Specific objectives of the consultancy are: • To conduct physical surveys and site analysis of the road alignment including contour survey map. • To conduct a subsoil investigation. • To Carry out a comprehensive environmental impact analysis. • To undertake detailed engineering designs, including specifications, drawings, and detailed cost estimates as per TOR • To prepare Detail Estimate of all works. • To Implementation of the Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Livelihood Restoration Plan • To ensure construction monitoring, supervision and quality control. • Support the PMU in project planning, monitoring, reporting and financial management. • Any Other task as specified in approved ToR.
